The member who placed this information here had this to say about Audrey

How to describe my Aunt "Tots"? She had a zest for life and a style all her own. She was my Mother's best friend, and I miss her still.

Audrey's Biography

Tots was the third of six children. She had fire-engine red hair and a laugh that I can still hear. She was always ready for fun and well put-together. She loved professional hockey, fine wine and her family--not necessarily in that order! She was a very frugal and organized house-manager.

Audrey's Philosophy on Life

She never mentioned a 'philosophy' but if I had to guess by how she lived, "work hard and play hard."

Audrey's Early Life

She was a feisty teen. She was popular and was caught once or twice sneaking out at night to catch up w/friends.

Audrey's Career as a Homemaker

Aunt Tots spent most of her adult life raising and caring for her children. Once they were old enough she took a job at the "Clayton Club for Women" where she remained for >25 years.

Audrey's Family Life

She was the third oldest of six. Her younger sister, Gloria, (my Mother) was her best friend. Tots had four children of her own; 3 girls and one boy. She was married twice. First to Fred who passed before her, and second to Jim who passed after she of a broken heart.

Things that Influenced Audrey's Life

Through family stories told, she was highly influenced by her father (Henry) who was a strict disciplinarian. Another best friend of hers "Bobbie" had some influence on her life as well.

Audrey's Legacy

I consider her children, my cousins, to be her legacy. She is alive and well in them and she has instilled many of her values in them.

Thanks for the visit and follow!Actually I'm using WordPress.com, uasluly through Google Chrome, though if on our family computer through Explorer. I do own my domain name, and use a fairly flexible theme. Going to .org means selecting a server (which I've been struggling with), and giving up my beloved WordPress.com like button, although I think there's a plug-in to add a different one. The upsides would be additional flexibility and ad plug-ins. WordPress.com does limit how you can advertise there's info in the support section.I'm happy so far with what I have. I like the support features and have been able to do most of what I wanted to. When I use up my media space and/or start a second topical blog I may reconsider, but for now I'm content.
