"I just had to laugh."
Likely a catholic prayer.

My Grannie Annie was a real lady. She walked to church every day, wore only dresses and I never heard her speak a foul word. She made the best german chocolate cake I've ever tasted and inspired my interest in Lawrence Welk...
My Gram gave birth to six children; Robert, Joan, Audrey, Gloria, Ken (who passed at 2 years of age) and Gerry. She was tiny of stature but big of heart. One of my fondest memories is every Christmas she would give us grand-children (of which she had 19!) a pair of socks and a card with $2 inside.
Hard work, family and the Lord.
She grew up in the country and played the organ at church as a teen-ager.
My Grandmother raised her children. Once they were grown she worked very part-time in the retail industry. She was involved with church activities, quilting and her grand-children.
My Grandmother had a quiet strength which I believed she passed onto her Daughter, my Mother Gloria.

I believe we may be related. My grandfather
Hugo Adolph Finder was born in Moselle, MO
in 1917. Anna sounds like a lot of the
Finder ladies. Especially "I just had to
laugh".
